Big Horn Armory makes some beautiful lever guns in .500, would love to have one but there out of my price range and finding one used is very hard to do.
Yeah, I've looked, but to do one the way I would want would be 4k or more. Not that interested. Also, I'd prefer a Marlin design action rather than a Winchester.

There very nice rifles, but I just can't see spending that much money on one. I would be to scared something would happen to it if I tried to take out hunting.

500 is a ton of fun to shoot. I don't know what's with all the comments about getting scared or hurt. I've fun everything from spicy handloads to softie handloads to freedom munitions to the 700gr solids. Never hurt a bit. Lots of fun.

44 mags always been enough for me, I typically liked shooting 44 specials more than the mags for fun.

If I were to get anything bigger I’d want something like the 454 casull that can shoot the .45 colt. JMO

I think a lever in .460 S&W would be more practical.

My Marlin .22 will shoot short, long or long rifle. Why not a companion. 45 Colt, .454 Casull and .460 S&W?

I've never shot one but some people complain about the ruger alaskan 2.5". I kinda like shooting it. I always like shooting a 44 mag over the 357 mag. But I really don't have a want to to shoot the .500
