I've never used a setup like that, but I've made foam cutters out of old flashlights. It's pretty easy if it only needs to last a little while. That's a pretty neat setup I kinda want to try out now...

Crap, now I have to try it. My last effort at cutting foam was so bad it made me think I was born a "Lefty" and made to conform to the right hand world in 70's public school!

I think I am gonna have to try this! I've been wanting to get a pelican case for a while and I really didn't want to have it professionally done. Post pics if ya try it...I probably will in the next few weeks.

I once tried cutting foam for tools in a portable toolbox using a soldering iron I found left behind in a house I was wiring and it turned into a crappy waste of time.
