[QUOTE="rlongnt, post: 3198047, member: 665"] Speaking of cables…. With the Wanenmacher show coming up soon I'd like to give my colleagues here on OSA fair warning on some 10 foot iPhone/iPad cables I bought at the November 2018 Wanenmacher show. The booth was on the top deck on the far right hand side as you walk in from the Golden Driller side. These cables looked to be of excellent build quality and available in various colors @ three for $30. I bought six iPhone cables so everyone in my house could have a long cable. My daughter immediately informs me that her iPad Pro won’t use it, another that her iPhone 7 Pluss won't, then my 7 and on we go for all eight of our devices. Some cables worked for a day but within a couple of days ALL cables with ALL devices had issues. I tried normal and the larger iPad charging blocks hoping they might just need more power due to their length. In the end all cables with all our devices had the “Accessory may not be supported” either immediately or within a day. Buyer beware… Now the only cables I'll buy are the real 2 meter Apple cables. Buy once cry once kinda like a Colt LE6920 vs Rijas ARs Certified third-party accessories have the MFi badge on their packaging. Here is a good read..
