I think I've got one of those old Weaver's in my stash of 'stuff'.

I’ve got one of the old steel weavers with actual wire crosshairs that was never charged with nitrogen.
The glass is a little “cloudy”. Probably from years of condensation/drying out, and repeating the process for a zillion years.

I don’t know if you all have seen the wood furniture AR stuff. I think that scope would look sick on a wood stock AR.

I have seen those. I want a set, but dang are they pricey.

Yeah, disgustingly so. Just saw one tonight after posting above and it’s $500. I can build an AR and get ammo for that.
