I wouldn't pay that price for a complete rifle made of titanium and plated in 24ct gold. Matter if fact, i bet half the members on this site could build a Frankenstein for under $500 that would shoot just as good as any AR-15, first time builders included

Nothing against this upper, but the sum of the parts doesn't equal the value of the whole.

I shake my head when I see guys at gun shows carrying around AR-15 platform firearms with an outrageous price flag flying from the barrel, equipped with an expensive scope, light, mount system, specially lined barrel with a superior twist, etc. etc. then complaining when they get an offer for 30% of the sum of the parts added to the firearm.

I learned long ago, $2000 tires and rims on a car don't increase the value of the car by $2000.
