Is there anyone who builds AR's in Tulsa. I'm wanting to start a build up and would rather keep it in town. Maybe i'm forgetting someone but i can't think of anyone. Thanks
Are you talking about a gunsmith or just somebody?
If a gunsmith orders in the lower and does the work he has to collect the federal excise tax. If you buy the lower somewhere else and bring it in partially assembled he usually won't have to collect the tax.
That 10% adds up pretty fast.
Best to find a "New OSA buddy" who will assist you over a pizza and a six pack or something like that.
I had the ATF/IRS "visit" years ago so I know I speak from experience.
