Is there anyone in the OKC area who threads AR barrels for a FH.What would be the average cost and would the FSB or upper need to be removed.

Mechanical Accuracy in Jones is who I would take it to for sure.

Which reminds me I still need to drop my .308 off to have him shorten the barrel and re-crown it for me.

Yes - and same here (only I'm also having him re-cut the chamber in mine if it needs it... and its a Remington, so it probably does :D ).


BTW, the barrel would definitely have to come off of the upper, but I don't know for sure if he would have to remove the FSB (depends on how his lathe is setup).

my buddy just bought a bushmaster that he needs threaded for a FH,anyone know where he could get it done and a price estimate. i told him i had read good things about steve baldwin but i didnt know a price
