Bentley Mehringer, 6, said something did not smell right within minutes of being on a family boat at Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas, KSWO reported.

Bad situation. Had the water filter in my bass boat rupture once with the fuel pump putting 20 gallons of gasoline into the belly of the boat during a tournament.
Told my buddy to get into the front and get ready to jump when I turned on the bilge pump. Fortunately, there was no ignition and we used the trolling motor to get back to the ramp. Day ended up early.
