Sooner State Pawn has one (did have 2, but I bought 1) Browning 1911-22.

Mags are FINALLY in stock direct from Browning. They are full price at $41.99, but they are here! Use coupon code "buckmark75" to get free shipping on orders of $75 or more. So if you buy two or more shipping is free. I called and verified stock and the rep was surprised they were actually and finally in stock with a second large shipment coming in later this week.

http://www.browningshop.com/product/7855 $84 for 2 mags! Ouch!

Also, Paul at http://www.designergrips.com (located in Edmond) is making grips for the Browning 1911-22 (special since they are 85% size). I am expecting my grips to be ready this week. He uses a variety of synthetics and I chose a Black and Red carbon fiber. I searched high and low on the internet and found Paul was willing to take the challenge! He is the only one I know of using the Carbon Fiber and Kevlar.

I held one of those in my hand at a recent RK show in OKC. They feel great in the hand, much like a M1908 Colt Pocket Hammerless. Congrats and enjoy!

Very awesome. Your 1911-22 didn't come with stocks? Interesting...

My Sig 1911-22 came with a nice set of GI wood grips.

Enjoy your mini-1911.

MR.357Sig ~ Mine DID come with the plastic grips, but I let www.DesignerGrips.com use them to create the necessary molds. I sacrificed mine so that we all may enjoy an upgrade in grips. :)

I will update my picture as soon as my grips are done. Here are the grips by themselves.

MightyMouse ~ Yes, it does feel great in the hand! I actually went in thinking I would buy the RIA XT22 (full size 1911 - actual .45 lower and .22 upper all steel), but after handling the Browning, I was sold on it.

Jeffhughes ~ I did jump on some mags. I bought 2 anyways.

I've never held/shot one, but are they worth all the hassle? I have a Umarex/Walther/Colt 1911-22 and it's standard size for grips, triggers, etc. The mags are ~$22/ea.

I'm just curious, not trying to down play your pistol at all. It's a great looking pistol in the pic, and I know Browning makes a quality product.

I am hoping the quality and reliability are why! Lol

The 85% size does have a cool factor. Plus a milled slide and hopefully a better barrel. Magazine is steel too. Again hopefully lending to longevity.
