Not the original finish. It was professionally refinished by the original owner (a family member) but had no rust or pitting. It was done purely for “cosmetics”.

Is it cerakote?

texture does not look like cerakote but could be. kind of like it, kills the value though.

No doubt. Still a great gun but he was thinking practicality instead of collectors value. My understanding is that it was parkerized, not finished with Cerakote.
