Bullet Seating Question

I am reloading some 9mm (CCI 500 small pistol primers, 5.1 grains of Unique, 125gr cast bullet) and notice when I seat the bullet, I am getting a sliver of lead from the bullet at the the case mouth. Common with cast bullets, or do I need to open the mouth a bit more?? 20 plus years after watching my Dad do this in the evening and I wish I would have paid more attention!!!

Bell it a little more and see if it fixes it. I hated Unique for 9mm.

Thanks Dustin, I will give that a try.

It is a "legacy" load that my Dad always loaded. I know, its about 25 years old and there are better ones out there, but I figured I would start with something familiar.
