That’s Fowler and they can bite the big one. They were trying to pressure me when we were looking for a 4Runner for my wife. They gave me a time limit on their lame offer. Needless to say, I wouldn’t do business with them.

I’m new truck shopping right now. I’m a salesman’s worst enemy, I have patience and I’m not financing. I’m starting to get desperation texts from two of them. A third got crossed off my list when he tried to sell me a truck on another dealers lot. I called him out when I told him where the truck was.

As they've said on Car Edge, don't tell them you are paying cash, say you are looking at financing (they make money off of that) and negotiate the best OTD price. If it's conditional that you get a loan, make sure there are no early payoff penalties, then when the first bill comes, pay it off in full. No dealership is your friend, friends don't have to say "Oklahoma who loves you..."
