Met brother Troy @Gasman91 this morning and he hooked us up with 32 tubs for planters. One more outstanding man I have met here.
A volunteer fire fighter and a man of his word. As well as a man that added to our blessings, may the good Lord shine on Troy and family.
Thank you again sir.
Tim & Teresa.
Appreciate the kind words, it was nice meeting you as well. Best of luck with your planting and hope you have bountiful yields

if you can't find any they can be purchased new empty of course pretty cheap and in round or rectangle and different colors. i had poor luck using lick tubs for planting garden plants. i think the soil temp was to high.

Yep! Second season we had to bury them, still utilized the draining system/water storage at the bottom in them, still watered the thru the pvc pipe to the bottom of tub. And left them 6-7 inches out of ground to keep weeds out. Then they work great! Lot less watering needed than ground garden, can feed through the pvc pipe below the plants, they excel!

Those are sip containers or as Leon calls them wicking tubs. They excel when it comes to watering because you have a reservoir below as well as an air pocket . Are you using a fabric weed barrier over your pipes ?

Yes on the barrier material, just as we used them above ground, we sunk them and the production skyrocketed! Still water from the bottom on the cavity as they were above ground, less water needed as well. Bury you about 4 and see if they out perform above ground.
