Slowly in the process of building the wife's latest HD gun (Old model Rem 870 riot gun) and will be sandblasting, then airbrushing the whole thing in Cerakote.
I noticed that there's a small area of mild oil soak darkening of the wood stock where it attaches to the receiver. Not bad, like old Garand stocks. Will this affect the Cerakote adhesion or sweat out during the wood/ plastic lower temp (200 deg) baking process?
