I had not thought to look at Atwoods....

I got my reloading gear on Friday. I've since loaded 3 boxes of .380ACP. Using supplies bought locally I've saved a hair more than $10 a box over store bought factory ammo. Now 10 more boxes and my setup is paid for. I'll save even more once I get cast lead bullets.

That's cheap ammo.

:)

Yep, the cheapest ammo I have seen came out of my reloading room. As was stated above, when I cast my own bullets it is even cheaper. I think I can still reload a box of 50 9mm cartridges for less than $2. However, I am using powder and primers that I bought several years ago before the prices really went up. I pick up free 9mm brass at the range, and use WW or reclaimed bullets to cast my own. This makes 9mm almost as cheap as 22LR to shoot.
