I didn’t see this posted anywhere and thought I’d share.
Terribly sad. Thoughts and prayers.
Man. I can't imagine.
Sad.......video put a lump in my throat.
Have been with my bride for over 43 years and I can't imagine life without her.
I grew up watching Jimmy Houston Outdoors, but I didn’t know until recently that Chris is a “fishing legend” in her own right.
Yes, very sad.
Prayers go out to the Houston family, great people. Always watched his fishing show locally.
Lovely family. Take care Jimmy. God be with you.
I still have a hat Mr. Houston autographed the bill for me when he used to have his boat dealership in Tahlequah. He seen me wearing a had that said "FISH HARD and rest when you die" and came over and started talking to me. Didn't even buy a boat from him and he didn't care.
That has been my lucky fishing hat ever since. Took it to Cabo and caught a 320lb blue marlin first trip. 13 Yellow fin in one day on another trip. I could fill a dump truck with fish I have caught wearing that thing. But I don't break out the heavy artillery for just any fishing trip.
Awesome guy in real life and sad to hear this. Real people and prayers for you guy.
Here is me in that Hat in Baja Mexico with 11' 2".
