he knows more than me. i also have 1 same general shape but the follower button is on t5he right hand side & only slotted on r h side with no push button release notch

First gen has the angled grip bottom and heel mag release. Second gen has the thumb mag release and the grip base is parallel to the bore axis. Third gen has the parallel base and heel mag release.

This is the magazine from my 2nd Series Woodsman with magazine release at rear of trigger guard. OP’s pic shows the left side from which you cannot see the button notch.
