Talked to a guy tonight that said you no longer have to take the conibear course to be able to use them.
He is a wheel in the OKLA furbearer alliance.
The stipulation is that they can only be used for water sets for beaver.
No reg for the size of the conibear.
If your still concerned, call the ODW and chec k it out.
As I've stated in the past, these are dangerous traps to use.
Get your arm in there without a buddy and you have lost your arm.
with the bigger traps.
You must contact the GW in the county to get a permit. According to the source I talked to , the GW will visit the site in 24 hrs, and issue a permit.
I'll be calling my local GW to verify this info, and suggest y'all do the same.
