I know they can’t tell other states what to do and what not do. I already clarified that in a previous post of mine when I said that Oklahoma can’t control what other states do. I just simply stated that Oklahoma doesn’t have to completely jump through their hoops. But what difference does it make anyways, since I’ll bet you dollars to pesos that most people aren’t going to go though the whole permit process just to carry in a different state. They’ll either do it illegally or they won’t do it all. Just like how out of the whole entire population of Oklahoma, only a third of Oklahoma’s population actually had a permit. Once again, they were just either carrying illegally, hoping they never got caught, or just not carrying at all because they either couldn’t afford a permit, or just simply didn’t want to have to pay for their rights, so they just left their gun at home. But where did you find out about Wisconsin recently cutting reciprocity agreements with us? And why did they do it? It can’t be because of our new, so-called constitutional carry because I’m pretty sure Wisconsin is one of the states that still requires us to maintain an Oklahoma permit if we choose to carry armed there. But here’s another idea- ok, if Oklahoma wants to completely honor other state’s requirements, they can still mandate the SDA class and the background check but they damn sure don’t need to keep charging what they were for that permit. Oklahoma lets legally qualified people to carry HERE free from charge so why can’t they convey that same respect for carrying to another state?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
