Saturday was the first day that the new Scout was tested. Weather was perfect for a days shooting.
Noticed right off that the iron sights on this gun are not good. Why would they put such a sight on a good gun?
You can't adjust the front sight without removing the hood, and the rear sight does not have enough adjustment when shooting high.
Does anyone have any suggestions for options on sighting? I looked on CZ-USA and they have a package that runs close to hundred bucks, but for that kind of change, I would rather install a scope.
I did find that the gun had a preference, when it came to ammo, that it liked. Luckily, I had three brands to try out.
