A simple fix for this is to simply say, "Bond, James Bond." While their POS may require a name it does not need to be correct, they can easily put in John Doe if they want. I am 110% on the bandwagon with not giving out info to every little twerp that asks for it. Go in for a haircut going to pay cash they want name phone number and email address. I mean come on it's a haircut, I get enough junk as it is and there is NO WAY you are going to call me for a date. Here is another one I overheard the other day at Walmart in Guthrie. Woman was in purchasing some .380 didn't know what she wanted and the cashier couldn't figure out a price so she starts grabbing boxes of everything. She comes across one that was cheap and didn't know how many rounds was in a box of self defense ammo, I mentioned it would probably be 20 or 25 being nice. Woman went with a 50 round box of something for a couple bucks more. The cashier asks for ID, I looked at the woman and was kinda like, really, Oh for her age. The cashier promptly says no I am going to scan it. I asked what for and she flat said she scans EVERY ID for any ammo purchases, it's not store policy but she is going to do it anyway. Since I was just looking for a few I walked off but I can guarantee that if I was going to make a purchase she would not have scanned my ID and the store manager would have been brought in over it. Some of the employee's at places seem to feel that they have the power to make up policy above and beyond what is required. My feeling is we do not live in Russia, Kommiefornia or the Northern Republic of Illinois and if they want to have it that way they can by all means move to one of those places.
