Well it's been awhile and ATT bought DTV Now and they are pissing me off. They raised the my rate and took it upon themselves to add HBO to my plan along with an extra $15 a month. Hell, I can subscribe to it stand alone for that so they have ZERO discount built in. My bill is now $75 plus tax. And it is constantly telling me I have too many streams running when only one is. You only get two to begin with but you can add one for $5 a month. 3 is all you get period which is ridiculous. I'm going to jump to SlingTV or YoutubeTV as soon as I make up my mind. Thinks it's going to be Youtube. I can add Netflix and still be paying a little less. SlingTV has a 2 room special for $149 if you prepay for 3 months. For the $149 you get an AirTV2, two AirTV Minis and an OTA Mohu like antenna. The AirTV2 box looks cool so it's tempting. It connects to the OTA antenna and then you can stream live local channels to any device over your wifi router. Even if you leave the house, you can supposedly watch it on your phone! It also integrates it all into the guide interface so no switching inputs and it's all in one place. That would be great for my mom as she has a hard time figuring out how to watch stuff. Cord cutting isn't for geriatrics! Sling also comes somewhat close to what I've wanted for years. They have some channels that you can add individually for $3 and certain packages of them for $5. Always hated paying $15 a month for a set of channels when I only wanted one of them. Youtube TV provides all the local channels too, so they do essentially the same thing as far as showing it all in one place without the hardware.
