She is doing exactly what she was told to do, I'm surprised she can keep a straight face and not bust out laughing. They already have proved you do not need to answer any questions and the worst that will happen is a long vacation with full pay.

In Part I at 6:00, Gowdy asks if a K1 Visa applicant's social media has been reviewed prior to issuance. This twit doesn't have an answer (in fact she doesn't have an answer for ANY question asked of her). The answer is: DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson has specifically FORBIDDEN DHS agents from reviewing social media accounts of Visa applicants.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/secret-us-policy-blocks-agents-social-media-visa/story?id=35749325

Fearing a civil liberties backlash and "bad public relations" for the Obama administration, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson refused in early 2014 to end the secret U.S. policy that prohibited immigration officials from reviewing the social media messages of all foreign citizens applying for U.S. visas, according to a former senior department official.

"During that time period immigration officials were not allowed to use or review social media as part of the screening process," John Cohen, a former acting under-secretary at DHS for intelligence and analysis. Cohen is now a national security consultant for ABC News.

One current and one former senior counter-terrorism official confirmed Cohen's account about the refusal of DHS to change its policy about the public social media posts of all foreign applicants.

Yes, the DHS Secretary was more concerned about the "optics" of reviewing the social media postings of non-U.S. citizens petitioning the government for entry into the U.S., than the optics of someone whom they granted entry that had jihadi postings going on a shooting spree against American citizens on U.S. soil.

So tell me why there hasn't been a call for his immediate resignation yet??? :anyone:

Because this entire administration has reset the bar when it comes to expectations. Anything more than a well delivered verbal address with some big words is just beyond their ability. Competence? Morals? Accountability? Why GTG, you surely have been drinking! :D

The bar is just too high for those things and the people have now grown numb to it. And they will continue to be numb to it until the dirty bomb goes off in NYC, Houston, D.C., L.A., etc. It's the new norm until the next big attack.

The business of bureaucracy is paper shuffling, planning and having meetings. There are people of good will and ability in the federal government but they are in the minority. The right person in the White House can empower that minority to shine. We elected the poser who lives there now and are suffering as a result.
