Growing up in Kingfisher and Garfield counties I seem to recall if weather is too nice too early we get big hail and tornadoes because thete is still real cold air aloft and our warm moist and a dry line means look out

Don't forget the Jet Stream. Cold fronts, dry line, jet stream, warm moist air = TORNADOS!

Oh yeah, in Moore, Oklahoma.
