Not sure where to get it done locally but I have sent several out to get refinished. I recently got my colt officers cap hard chrome and it is super tough. I work on cars and have been rolling around on concrete and snagging it on everything and have yet to put any wear on it in 4 months. I also have a nickel plated kimber but it is very easily scratched.
