Can you post a pic of the brass medallion/coin in stock and also what arsenal make. Do all numbers match?

Looks like it’s missing. It’s not a big deal anyway, as the info on the disk invariably is outdated, since the last time it was stamped would have been before it was sold as a milsurp, decades ago.

The medallion is not missing, and he posted the pics and answered my question. Why are some people trying knock his gun? I wouldn’t be afraid of entering a 300 meter match with it as it is, letting me have a 10 round sight in.

My bad, it did look like it was missing in the OP. And I wouldn’t knock this rifle, as M96’s generally shoot very well. I’ve had up to half a dozen of them; my comments were regarding the accuracy of the stock disks given the time lapse between the last date of stamping and the rifle’s subsequent use, if any. That’s all.
