I am curious is all. I realize that I am ignorant on a great many subjects spoken of here. People here seem very passionate about a wide variety of topics that seem very important.

Oh absolutely!

This is America. It is just words and Saber rattling. Besides that small example given to new users is pretty much a defense mechanism to keep that community what it is as a whole.
