Gas Masks?

Under what conditions?

Military with the US ones and just messing around with the Israeli ones but they did have a good seal. There are ways to check for a good seal if you don't know how.

Right. I get that. I used them in the mil too. My question was geared more towards testing how they work, as in filtering contamination...not just how they seal under use (I've been gassed by my own grenades more than once after running and gunning activities broke my seal LOL).

I still hold the position that surplus masks and filters of unknown quality are a gamvle at best, and a talisman.

Time and money should be spent elsewhere.
