Why? The man owns the gun currently. Or are you worried about your stolen gun collection? ATF seeing your serials? Seriously why not show some serial numbers? You show the model and most even photograph the entire gun?

Howdy, I’m not an attorney, it’s my understanding that a bad guy could report “ your serial # toy as “stolen “, & @ that point in time your gun is hot, & now come what may.

With this logic one could go to the gun store or walk through a parking lot, collect Vin and tag number then do the same.
