same here, I feel sorry that their family has had to wait this long to find out. Good for Texas. That POS deserved no less.
A good man has taken a life, and a little girl has been raped.
I don't see much cause for celebration here. I don't care that the rapist is dead, that's fine with me, but ending a life is a life changing experience for most people, and considering the content of the dad's 911 call, I suspect this has changed his life. It is unlikely that the changes are for the better.
The child, hopefully, is getting the professional care she needs. In some societies, thankfully not ours, she would have been discarded as soiled.
Still, the reality of this event will have an effect on her for the rest of her life.
No heroes here, no winners, and no happy ending.
Fortunately in Texas "He needed killin'" is a valid and tested defense in court.
