Grip cap on rifle stock

I lost the grip cap on my rifle stock and ideas on making one I can’t find one anywhere it’s just a cheap axis 1 but I like the rifle

Hmmmmm. Can you plug it with epoxy or might you need to remove it for any reason? Had a rubber plug in my AR grip back when I had one. It was a handy spot to keep things.
