GSG 522 spring?

Pulled apart my rifle to clean and when I removed the carrier a small spring about a half inch came out of somewhere. I've spoken to someone else who this happened to. Neither of us can figure where it might of come from. The rifle still fires like normal. I cant for the life of me figure out where it might possibly go. Anyone else run into this issue?

I vaguely recall a "Special" spring that tends to pop out during dissasembly. Happened to me when I did the GSG5 conversion. Don't recall which one. I used a youtube video for instructions, and the narrator describes the point where the spring pops out. Maybe worth a search? Sorry, I brain-dumped the details once finished.
