I just finished up with my sprinkler system this last week, and am already wanting a well. I've seen a lot of info online about people drilling their own well with pvc pipe and some water hoses. I bored under my 14' wide driveway in less than 10 minutes using the same idea...so I know the idea will work... I am sure it will work just as they are describing in the right areas. The problem is that I haven't found any that have been done in central OK. Someone once told me that around where I live, the well would need to be around 150' deep. I imagine that that figure was to obtain potable water though, and not just irrigation water. Anyone with more knowledge? Would I be able to get 12 gpm irrigation water at 60' with a gravel pack and filter screen?
