Help me pick a chainsaw

Stihl.
Top end kits are cheap and both my saws have been running for years, did a “big bore” on my 290, now it’s a 390. Lost some compression so it was time, for less then $50 went up a horse and saw runs like new again just more power.

Stihl chain saws including pole saws, are ahrd to beat, but are pricey! I have a chain saw I bought in 1987, and it stil starts the second pull every time!

Toy? How many battery powered chainsaws have you personally used.

My in-laws are loggers, and all they use are Stihl if that means anything...

Stihl all day long if you want to cut for that long.

Even if you don't cut all day long you can rest assured that tomorrow your Stihl will fire up like it was just shut off and keep on keeping on.

I bought one of the extendable Stihl pole saw this year and I love it. Get the cheapest blade sharpening tool and throw it in the box and you can go for days.

I have a Royobi 14" 40V saw which is more than enough for what I use it for. Most of my power tools are Royobi.
