My daughter stole my last 642 and I never got around to checking on holsters for the little 642 humback.
Recently acquired another one (thanks 1911master) and I'm in the market for a CCW holter for it.

Anyone have any suggestions? Input good or bad?

Prefer IWB with some type of retention.

You'll either want a dual clip like OKMike suggested, or a very deep setting holster. We used a DH snap loop holster, and with the short barrel and relatively high ride, it always felt like it was trying jump out of the pants.

I was hoping to avoid the Crossbreeds, but it's sounding like that might be the way to go......
Any experience with the Minituck, Microclip, or Quikclip?

Thanks guys!

I wasn't specifically recommending one (I've never owned or carried with one), but just the general style of having two attachment points, fore and aft.

I hear ya. But I've had similar response elsewhere also.
The little J hump tend to be a little top heavy in many holsters.
Even some of them you bury it in.

I usually use my pocket. However, I will use a Desantis for that extra layer. I have a Don Hume clip which holds the 642 quite tight.

If you can get David to answer his phone or email...KYTAC makes a dandy tuckable kydex j-frame holster.

He does frequent that "other board" as DavidE... and Kytac has a website.
