I purchased the above kit to help me figure out the problems with some of my reloads for my 6.5 Grendel. I don't see the Grendel listed on the cart listed on the link below. The instructions say to drill and ream the blank bushing for any cartridge that's not listed.

Exactly how would I go about doing that?

You need to find out the thread pitch. Determine the tap and drill size you'll need then drill the primer pocket out and tap the hole. You might pm HMFIC. Since he's been making pens he might be able to help you out with drilling a precisely located hole.

I would try the bushing "B" As it is for the 6PPC which I think is close to the 6.5 Grendel. If not call Hornady tomorrow and ask them what size hole to drill in the blank bushing.

It's a comparison type tool so just use whatever bushing hits the shoulder and clears the mouth. It doesn't have to fit exactly.
