Ok....I got a statement from Janus Henderson yesterday. I have a Roth IRA in their Growth and Income Fund. Last year I withdrew $7595.09 during the year to pay for medical expenses. The change in market value was $9466.44 for the year. Even with my withdrawal, and not adding anything additional, I gained $1871.35 for the year. Better than a kick in the pants!

34%+ in 2019 , but October of 2018 was a real kick in the pants.

I'm 2 years away from retirement at 59 1/2, and my 401k was up over $500k last year. Vast majority in ETF's and a limited number in my company's stock.

Most in a 401k Roth.

If 2020 is like 2019, I may retire at the end of 2020. I think I can take a one time withdrawal of unrealized net assets that will get me to 59 1/2, but I'm going to have to meet with Fidelity again in about June to make sure.

I can tell you this, I'm damn sure tired of working.
