IDPA Oil Capital Sat Feb 27

IDPA shoots Saturday February 27 at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club. Set-up commences at 7:30, sign-in at 9:30 and walk-thru at 10 AM. Plan on six stages, for about 100 required rounds. Match fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members).

We will shoot a Classifier after the match, starting after the match is put away; around 2-2:30 PM. Cost for Classifier is $5 (no cost to OCR&GC members). It may be possible to shoot Classifiers in multiple Divisions; come prepared to do so, if you wish. As a reminder, to keep a Classification current in a given Division, it is necessary to shoot a Classifier for it every 12 months. That's for each Division you wish to keep current. Master-classed shooters are exempt from further Classifiers. To shoot the Badlands Regional, you must have a current classification, by the date of the match, in the Division you are registered to shoot.

I have a friend that is planning on attending. What entrance do you use? Also where are you meeting? At the large clubhouse by the rifle range?

There is no change, from the usual, in either entry or building for the event. Entry for event will be via 101st Street Gate. Sign-in building will Rifle/Pistol Range Bldg.

Weatherman is being cooperative for Saturday! 50+ degrees and SUNNY for Saturday. The Tulsa area missed any snow and all but a few 100th's of rain from Thursday night.

Ditto! my first IDPA and it was a great experience! thanks to everyone who put this together, even staying after to shoot classifiers!

Great day of shooting and a great turnout. Even got a little sunburned.
Wish I could of stayed for the classifier, but had a prior commitment.
Hopefully we can get in another classifier in the next few months.

It was truly a great day at the range from a shooting standpoint. The wind was cold though. The range staff did a superb job! Many thanks, guys! And, damn it stings when you catch some skin between the magwell and the magazine!
