I managed to get all of my granddad's firearms. One I gave to my cousin which I shouldn't have. Remington 870 Wingmaster. Oh it was smooth. learned to hunt on that sucker. Sold one Remington 7600 .30-06. The rest will stay in my possession. Four of which have special value. Winchester 67 single action 22. First gun I ever shot. Its not pretty by any means. Browning A-5 Who doesn't want one. And my two prized possessions. Colt Detective Special 100% less one buggered screw. S&W Model 10 .38 Had it not spent 50+ years in a leather holster it would be 100 % as well. Instead it has some wear on either side of the muzzle and on the edges of the cylinder. Other than that its the best looking blued firearm I own. Yes It beats the Colt's finish by a mile. The others are shooters that get regular use at the range. I've hopefully added to this collection with firearms my son or grandson will never part with.
