Yep that is a Silver Maple I have 2 in the back yard I had 4 and 2 had to go after one lost 12" diameter braches on top of the house. Had 2 in the front yard nothing but weeds and dirt and tree in the front along with those large roots running across the ground. In the books I read the planting of the Silver Maple should be at least 50 feet away from any concrete or water lines or other standing structures or drainage or septic lines or systems. WHY on earth they polluted this neighborhood with them. they grow fast I suppose. But I planted an Oak tree i the front yard that was 4" diameter at the base about 12 years ago and it is HUGE now. It grows very fast in my book. It is 23" at the base now. A cross between a Shumard Oak and a White Oak.
