@Perplexed is right about the value, those are pretty common jars.
Manganese is the additive that turns the glass purple in the sun though. Most manganese came from Germany and went out of use in the US in 1915 because of WWI.
There's a bottle collector's show every June at the Tulsa Fairground in whatever they call the IPE Building now held in conjunction with the flea market. Lots of glass and advertising items.
Thanks for the correction…..you are right, it is manganese. The jar show is pretty overpriced but you are more likely to find the more rare jars.

Hope not. I just threw several boxes of them away so I wouldn't be tempted to use them. Kept one for decoration because I like old stuff. Mine are old but not that old. Can't really see it going back much past the '80s.

Different size.

Yours are standard, mine are different.

Mine say "63 narrow mouth". Smaller than normal narrow used today.

What is mind boggling is the prices that some of these old jars bring. Never knew anything about Glass Collecting. Bottles and other types will blow your mind on prices?

I have a "hobby" of making little alcohol treats for gifts,,,
I usually use Mason Jars as the drink base.

I will place one of the small (7.5 ounce) cans of soda in the jar,,,
Cut a scrap of colorful cloth to decorate the lid,,,
And tie an airline Mini of booze to it.

Jim Beam & Coke
Bacardi Rum & Coke
Southern Comfort and Sprite
Seagrams-7 & and Seven-Up
Captain Morgan spiced rum & Dr. Pepper
Gin and Ginger Ale
Vodka and Sprite
Etc.

I stopped at a garage sale one day and bought,,,
Six dozen brand new Mason jars with lids still in the plastic wrap.

I paid $1.00 per dozen.

When Oklahoma finally allowed the sale of the 50 ml (1.7 ounce) Mini's,,,
All my gift giving problems went away.

I worked at OSU for 21 years,,,
Not a week would go by that someone wasn't having a birthday,,,
I got into the habit of keeping an assortment of a half a dozen or more in my desk drawer.

If someone had an event that merited a small gift,,,
I was armed and ready,,,
So to speak.

Even if you don't use the Mason Jar in the gift,,,
Just tying one Mini to a 7.5 ounce can of soda is a nice treat.

Come Christmas time I would make up a huge basket of assorted treats like that,,,
Then let all of my work acquaintances pick out a favorite drink,,,
Usually cost me $50-60 bucks but that was a bargain.

I schedule a dental cleaning appointment every 6 months,,,
When I go into the reception area I take my basket of alcoholic treats,,,
It's so fun to watch those very nice ladies (who take so good care of me) dive into the basket.

I retired in Jan of 2021 but recently took a part-time job in a Mom-n-Pop liquor store,,,
The Manager saw on of my jar creations and is going to try a Christmas Gift promo.

An ideal "Highball" is 4 parts soda to one part liquor,,,
That's 8 ounces of soda to 1.7 ounces (a mini) of booze,,,
Okay, it's not an exact 4 to 1 ration but it's cert6ainly close enough.

So we did the math and decided that since a mason jar will hold three little bottles,,,
We'll market the jar with three bottles inside of it,,,
Along with two 12 ounce cans of soda.

That makes three 8 ounce portions of soda,,,
That will make three 8 ounce/1.7 ounce Highballs.

Because of the Mason jar,,,
We call it the "Redneck Highball Kit".

I also use the smaller 8 ounce Mason Jars,,,
I tie one Mini of a sipping liquor to it,,,
Something you don't mix with soda.

That and two ice cubes makes a great "On the Rocks" treat,,,
We call this variation the "Redneck Rocks Glass".

Just last week my favorite Nurse at my clinic retired,,,
I gave her a Redneck Highball Glass with three drinks attached.

She told me once she is a whiskey girl so she got a:
So-Co and Sprite, Jim Beam and Coke, and a Seagram's 7 and Seven-Up.

In the same basket ($1.50 at a thrift store) lined with a $1.00 Bandana from Hobby Lobby,,,
She also got a Redneck Rocks Glass with a Mini each of Crown Royal, Even Williams Apple, and Bird Dog Peach whiskeys.

She gave me a Big-old-Hug and started crying.

Mission accomplished! :)

I know this isn't especially gun related,,,
But the OP was for Mason jars,,,
I like Mason Jars.

In spite of me not being a devout 'Jar-Head', I still have managed to scrape up several dozen old Masons.
Some were from our family's farms & others, I assume are from other's family farms ;-]
Many date back to the 1890-1910 time range.
Some of the more interesting ones are made of crockery, but still have the screw on zinc lids.
I have quite a few old Half Gallon 'Slope Shouldered' jars of that era (also w/ zinc lids)- & ALL
are clearly marked as being made by Ball, Atlas, Drey, ...etc. EXCEPT one jar that is completely
unmarked- no letters/numbers on it at all. Does anyone have a clue who made this jar, or why
it's 'plain'?
It's kinda hard to identify w/ no identifying marks at all. Maybe it was made for the secret
underground, Spanish-American Wartime canning jar 'Black Mkt.'to feed Cuban mercenaries
that 'didn't exist'? ;-}
Or maybe a large glass manufacturer just had a 'Value Line' of nondescript jars? Seems I heard
that somewhere....maybe.
I also have a lot of other old bottles, jars, crockery & other containers that are interesting to
study & use to store smaller collectibles, modern kitchen ingredients, bathroom items ...etc .
