Now he and John Wayne are complete opposites, we all know that, but in most of his movies, he too basically portrays the same type of character. </p><p></p><p>Except for his portrayal of LAPD Detective Alonzo Harris in <em>Training Day.</em> In that film he switches his usual role as hero for one evil, cunning mean muthafuka. Also my favorite movie of his.</p><p></p><p>Back to John Wayne.
