Had the Tavor and happened to see an RDB at a local shop and instantly fell in Lust. After spending range time with both I opted to sell the Tavor and keep the RDB. Mine is the latest Gen and I've had 2 problems with the rifle, a top rail screw working loose, Cleaned the screw and hole and blue loctited that rascal down and 'Viola' fixed, 2 stoppages from underpowered handloads. If your shooting suppressed the RDB has almost 0 'gas in the face' problems that the Tavor. Accuracy from both are about the same except my 77 grain SMK handloads, the Tavor didn't like them but the RDB Loves them. Did I like the Tavor, of course I did but after the RDB I just didn't take it out much so off it went for sale. After around 400 rounds I'm pretty confident of it's reliability as I've only had 2 stoppages and it was with some handloads that were under powered. This opinion is with my RDB and I can't say what others have experienced... By the way paid a little over $900.00 OTD
