I thought I would share this with you good folks. I usually use ALL Free and Clear to wash my clothing and No added fabric softeners or dryer sheets. Towels wipe up water like mad and my dish rags do not get the sour smell until about a weeks worth of use. Wife found some Tide Pods Spring Meadow and she said she likes the smell. She usually uses Gain original liquid. Well something I noticed with the Tide Pods is the dish rag gets sour smell after 2 days. I am thinking this stuff is not really cleaning as much as it is adding smelly good. Now onto the dish detergent that you put into the dishwasher. I like cascade powder and the wife bought some cascade liquid because the store was out of powder. I noticed there were stuck on crunchies on plates and glasses when using the liquid. Every time not just every now and then. I do not like the liquid. One more observation is with the addition of Jet Dry. My stainless spoons knives and forks would have some rust color on them when using that Jet Dry. I discovered that many years ago. So just a heads up if you see rust and use that stuff . A few friends quit using it and the rust went away. I am wondering if it is the reason my racks and the coated pins sticking up break apart and rust out. Think about where is the rust coming from and will it lead to premature dishwasher failure.
