I have a drone on the way. And I agree that you have a right to privacy around your home but someone who is enjoying a hobby at a park or in the middle of nowhere is not a threat in any way. If you are having problems with them being flown around call the cops and let them handle it. If the person flying hasn't done things correctly they can get a pretty hefty fine as well as jail time. If you shoot it down even with a state law saying you can guess who gets the fine and jail time? Not to mention that most cities can regulate the discharge of a firearm within city limits through noise ordinances which will likely stick when a threat to life isn't present. And as has been mentioned already most of the people are just having some fun and will do their best to follow the laws, if they are in violation let the people who are paid to handle it deal with it. There are thousands of drones out there and people are getting riled up over a couple horror stories and a perceived violation that could happen. When you start jumping on the shoot them all bandwagon you are treating it just like so many liberals want to treat the 2nd amendment. And on this one the federal law will be the one that rules the road. Anything that flies falls under FAA jurisdiction, doesn't matter if it's 20 feet off the ground or 200 feet.
