Life size Bison target

I’m surprised it only weighs 142 pounds

It is 3/8" thick, not a 3D life size bison.

I've always wanted to put a "full size" buffalo target along the river behind our place in Nebraska. Would be fun to go to the back fence and plink at it with a variety of calibers from ~500 yards away.
Not for $1,700 though.

Cut one of plywood with an opening for a 18"x24" Target or 12" circle out of AR 500.

The RV park we stay at in Colorado during the summers has a county owned shooting range with life size targets like the one you posted about 2 miles away.
Elk with the small swingers at 200, 300 and 400 yards. Coyote and mule deer steel targets with swingers at various distances between 100 and 300 yards.
I spent a lot of time at that range last summer.

Plenty of "life-sized" bison in the Wichita Mtns. Don't get caught shootin' at one, tho.
