load data for 180 gr LRN 40 S&W

Getting ready to start working up some .40 S&W loads. I haven't loaded .40 S&W yet. Anybody have any good loads with either Titegroup or Clays? I'm going to be running them in my M&P compact and an STI edge.

My bad. I was thinking of the .45's I was loading. These are the Truncated cone 180 gr.

Titegroup and lead is smokey combo. I'm currently using WST with my lead loads.

I've been experimenting with RexII with 180Grn LTC.

4.3grn gave me 910fps which is just the width of a frogs hair under major. It smells like hell but it's cheap, when you can find it, and very soft recoil.

Hey Chris! Robbie just shared with me that 4.4gr of Titegroup at 1.135 OAL makes major PF. It is pretty smokey!

Im using the J&K 180gr TC with 3.2gr WST @ 1.13 OAL. Little smokey soft shooting. This is used in my XD40SC.

I have loaded them with 3.6 bullseye at 1.14 oal thru a para 16.40. It is really smokey with very little recoil. It is a minor PF.

Thanks for all of the ideas!! I'll probably try some other powders soon. But I've got a TON of titegroup and Clays. I just wanted something I run out to the garage and load up quick to try out my new toys. I just picked up my M&P yesterday and hopefully my STI tomorrow.
