I reload this for three different guys, look no further than H/IMR 4350 or H/IMR 4831. Mostly using 165gr bullets for those guys as well.
Same here. H4350 pushing 165 gr Hornady SST’s. I can look up the load data when I get home later.

I have not been disappointed with this load. If you use it on deer, however, put the shot through the ribs. That round is like a hand grenade if you hit the shoulder.

Here is my load...

Case length = 2.610
Hornady 165 gr SST
IMR4350 @ 69.3 gr
WLRM primers
OAL = 3.505

Remington 700PSS w/26” barrel

Best 5 shot grouping at 100 yds = .358”
Widest grouping = .912”
Thanks! I found a pound of 4350 in my inventory.:thumb:

FYI There’s a cheap generic/surplus powder that supposed to be the same as H1000, but of course, they’re out of it right now.:censored:

I loaded up 10 rounds using 165 gr Corelokt bullets, 75 grains H4831sc, CCI250 primers in PRVI once fired brass, and OAL is 3.360. Blasers generally allow for bullets to be seated long, so I may end up playing with seating depth.:anyone:

I don't mind shooting a bolt gun with none in the mag if seating depth is a game changer in accuracy, especially around here for whitetails. I do that with my .280AI

What twist rifling? If 165 grain is optimum I could spare you a few 165s to try. I think I have some 165 SGK, 165 Hornady Interbond, and maybe some 168 SMK. The SMK shoot really similar as the 165 SGK but aren't recommended for hunting.

They kill stuff dead dead though.
Back to the drawing board...At 100 yards, I got about a 2” group, and that’s not even close to being acceptable.:censored:
