Well I have to wonder what exactly you are thinking of as a cabin or is it kinda up in the air? There are a ton of resorts around Branson that look like a big cabin and have a lot of things to do. There are also campgrounds with cabins available. To me that would be a good area to hit for a couple days and be able to find something everyone will like to do. I would suggest hitting the https://www.xtremeracingcenterbranson.com/ go karts. Buy at least two or three fast races for each person, you have to qualify on the slow karts. There is also http://www.talimenascenicdrive.com/lodging/listing/queen-wilhelmina-state-park-lodge Queen Wilhelmina State Park Lodge. Not a ton around for the kids but can always take them some place and go crystal hunting. Or go to the Crater of the Diamonds state park https://www.google.com/maps/place/Crater+of+Diamonds+State+Park/@33.9112854,-93.9485298,10z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x273192a9a82995de!8m2!3d34.0325478!4d-93.6729312 and get the kids to help dig the wife up a big rock....
