Well $39 is considerably better than the $79 they usually cost.
I checked online, used the mobile app, and the scanner at the store. All rang up $3.94. Paid $17 for 4 bags.
Cashier guy simply goes "wow" and went on about his morning.
Maybe I just got lucky.

Nah, I married the best one, and yes I have used that joke in public. "Would you like a bag, nah I brought my own." while pointing at the wife. A few minor hits and all is good.
